A Terrible Tragedy. Euthanasia now legal in the state of Victoria.
On Wednesday 19th of June, the state of Victoria sadly crossed another threshold moment in its pursuit of a 'culture of death', by implementing legalised euthanasia and physician assisted suicides in the name of false empathy and compassion. Cardinal George Pell Court Case:
Cardinal George Pell is currently awaiting an appeal process to challenge the guilty verdict handed down by a Victorian court regarding an incident of child sexual abuse in 1996. Archbishop Peter A Comensoli has written a letter regarding this which can be read here.

CMA Writes Submission to WMA on Euthanasia:
The National Catholic Medical Association has written to the World Medical Association regarding proposed changes to the WMA's position statements on Euthanasia and Physician Assisted Suicide, which will be put forward in April at a meeting in Chile and will be decided upon in October and a general Council meeting.  The CMA Submission urged the WMA not to change its terminology or its stance of opposition on these issues.
